DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPERIENCE Here is an itinerary that starts from Pozzallo and takes you to discover the most beautiful beaches and naturalistic places in the area, certainly among the best in Sicily. There are many natural sites to discover in the coastal area from Pozzallo to Vendicari. The Pantani are a wetland and marshy area between Marza and Porto Palo di Capo Passero and Vendicari, known for its biodiversity and the presence of numerous species of migratory birds. ITINERARY: - Pozzallo: Pietrenere beach, large equipped white beach that slopes gently towards the very clean sea, with free access; the coast of Pozzallo has been recognized with the blue flag - Cirica Beach (Marza Ispica): on the beautiful Ispica coast, the splendid beach is not to be missed, famous for its stacks and turquoise water. - Pantani Longarini: The Pantani are a humid and marshy area between Marza and Porto Palo di Capo Passero. The most important in the area is Pantano Longarini, the paradise of flamingos, purchased in 2016 by a German non-profit association. - Beaches of Portopalo di Capo Passero: visit to the beach of Isola delle Correnti, the southernmost in Italy excluding the small islands and visit to the Scalo beach with its white sand and clear sea in front of the island of Capo Passero with a fantastic panoramic view. - Marzameni (Pachino): relaxing stop at the seaside village of Marzamemi perhaps to taste the delicious Sicilian granitas. - San Lorenzo beach: between Marzameni and Vendicari, a large, well-equipped beach with light sand and clear, intense blue sea typical of the Ionian coast, which recalls the Caribbean sea. - Vendicari Nature Reserve: an important protected area in the Noto valley with coastal dunes, marshes, salt marshes and rich birdlife.
