Refund Policy

This Refund Policy governs the reimbursement criteria and methods for services and products purchased through the official Nova Proloco Pozzallo APS portal (prolocopozzallo.it). Our goal is to guarantee maximum transparency while respecting consumer rights and the associative nature of our organization.

1. Membership (Membership Fee)

Pursuant to the Statute of Nova Proloco Pozzallo APS, the fee paid for the annual membership has the nature of an association contribution and not consideration for the sale of goods or services.

  • Refund: Once registration has been approved by the Board of Directors, the membership fee is not refundable, as it is aimed at supporting the institutional activities of the Association.

2. Booking of Tourist Services, Tours and Experiences

To book guided tours, excursions or events organized directly by the Proloco:

  • Cancellation by the user: * 100% refund if cancellation occurs at least 48 hours before the start of the event.

    • No refund is due for cancellations communicated after this deadline or in case of no-show (No-show).

  • Cancellation by the Association: In the event of cancellation of the event due to force majeure or failure to reach the minimum number of participants, the user will be entitled to a full refund of the sum paid or, at his/her choice, to a voucher of equal value.

3. Physical Products (Merchandising and Editorial Material)

In compliance with the Consumer Code, for the purchase of physical products (e.g. paper guides, gadgets):

  • Right of Withdrawal: The buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, without having to provide any reason.

  • Return conditions: The product must be returned intact, sealed and in the original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the user.

  • Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to downloadable digital products (e.g. PDF guides) once the download or consultation has begun.

4. Request Procedure

The request must include:

  1. Name and surname of the applicant.

  2. Order number or transaction reference.

  3. Reason for the request (where applicable).

5. Processing Times

Once your request is approved, your refund will be processed within 14 business days. The credit will be made using the same payment method used during the initial purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
