Spadaro Palace

Palazzo Spadaro is a treasure chest of aristocratic elegance. Its rooms, with majolica floors and frescoed vaults, tell the story of the splendor of eighteenth-century Scicli. Of particular importance is the section dedicated to the "Scicli Group", a contemporary pictorial school of international fame (of which the master Piero Guccione was a member) which was able to reinterpret the light and the Iblean landscape with modern languages. The visit to the palace therefore offers a double journey: one into the history of the Sicilian nobility and one into the creative vitality of today.
