Church of San Vincenzo

The Church of San Vincenzo is inextricably linked to the events of the Princes of Biscari, who promoted its construction and enrichment. The facade, sober but harmonious, leads to an interior rich in history and spirituality, where the urn containing the relics of the Holy Martyr stands out, donated to the city by the Holy See in the 18th century. This temple is not only a monument of sacred art, but the beating heart of the Acatesian religious traditions, capable of attracting flows of pilgrims and curious people during the patronal celebrations. Its position, close to the noble manor, creates a unique architectural complex that testifies to the union between temporal and spiritual power in the history of the village.
