Church of San Bartolomeo Apostolo

Rebuilt in the 18th century, the Church of San Bartolomeo is a splendid example of sacred architecture in the Val di Noto. Its façade, divided into three overlapping orders, stands out on the monumental staircase, capturing the golden light of the sun. Inside, the church houses priceless art treasures, including refined stuccoes and canvases that celebrate the life of the Patron Saint. The bond between the community and this church is visceral, culminating in the patronal feast in August. Inserting this monument means enhancing that "vertical beauty" typical of mountain villages.
