An epic re-enactment that takes Scicli back to 1091. The clash between the Normans and Saracens takes place in Piazza Italia, culminating in the scenographic descent of the Madonna delle Milizie: the only warrior Virgin in the world who, armed with a sword and on a white horse, intervenes to protect the city, fusing faith, popular theater and identity pride.
